Whether you are looking for a private family visit, a birthday celebration, a class, camp, community event, or an opportunity to volunteer, there are several ways to spend time at the farm.
Because Hidden Pastures is an active working farm with scheduled programs, animal care, and private activities, we are not open for unscheduled drop-in visits.

Plan for a Real Working Farm
Hidden Pastures is an active outdoor farm. Conditions change with the weather, animals, and season.
Visitors should expect:
- Animals
- Dirt, dust, or mud
- Uneven ground
- Natural farm sounds and smells
- Outdoor temperatures and changing weather
- Ongoing animal-care and farm activity
Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended for general visits and are required for some programs and activities.
Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that can get dirty.
Specific programs may have additional clothing, footwear, safety, or participation requirements. Please review the details for the experience you are attending before arriving.

Hidden Pastures is not a public petting zoo or a drop-in attraction.
To protect the animals, maintain program schedules, and ensure visitors have an appropriate experience, visits to the farm take place through:
- A confirmed private booking
- A registered program or class
- A camp registration
- A scheduled event
- An approved volunteer session
- Another prearranged visit with Hidden Pastures
Please do not arrive at the farm without a confirmed visit or scheduled activity.

Not every visit looks the same.
Animals, weather, seasons, and the work happening on the farm all influence what is possible on a given day.
Our Animals Come First
The animals at Hidden Pastures are part of the farm, our programs, and our everyday work.
Animal interaction is always based on what is appropriate for the animal, the activity, and the visitors involved.
Specific animals or activities cannot always be guaranteed.
Guests may be asked to observe rather than touch, wait for staff guidance, or participate in a different activity depending on animal wellbeing and current farm conditions.
That flexibility is an important part of experiencing a real working farm.
