Farm Club is a hands-on after-school program where kids become active participants in life at Hidden Pastures.
Through animal care, seasonal projects, practical farm tasks, and time outdoors, participants learn by doing and build skills through meaningful responsibility and real experience.
No two weeks on the farm are exactly the same.

Be Part of the Farm
Farm Club gives kids a chance to do more than visit the farm.
Participants help care for animals, work on projects, learn practical skills, spend time outdoors, and contribute to the everyday responsibilities that keep a real farm running.
Activities change with the animals, weather, seasons, and current needs of Hidden Pastures.
The goal is not to move kids through a scripted list of activities each week. Farm Club gives them opportunities to participate, learn, problem-solve, take responsibility, and become more capable through experience.
What Happens at Farm Club?
Depending on the week, participants may:
- Feed and care for animals
- Help clean or prepare animal areas
- Groom or appropriately interact with animals
- Learn about animal care and behavior
- Work in the garden
- Complete seasonal farm projects
- Help organize or prepare farm spaces
- Learn basic tools or practical skills
- Explore nature and agriculture
- Work individually and alongside other participants
- Solve real problems that come up on the farm
Activities vary based on current farm needs, weather, the season, and the wellbeing of the animals.
Confidence Through Doing Something Real
Farm Club is built around meaningful participation.
Kids are given age-appropriate opportunities to try new things, practice skills, make decisions, work through challenges, care for animals, and see the result of their effort.
Confidence does not only come from being told you can do something.
Sometimes it grows because you learn how to do something you could not do before.
This can happen while carrying feed, caring for an animal, learning a new farm skill, finishing a project, solving a problem, or contributing to the group.
A Hands-On Farm Program
Farm Club is not a riding lesson, therapy session, or recreational petting experience.
Participants should expect to take part in the real activities of the farm.
Some weeks may include a lot of animal interaction. Other weeks may involve gardening, projects, cleaning, organizing, learning a practical skill, or helping with whatever the farm needs that day.
That variety is part of the experience.

Come Ready for Farm Life
Farm Club takes place on a real working farm.
Participants should arrive prepared for outdoor conditions and activities that may include dirt, mud, dust, animals, uneven ground, and changing weather.
