Sponsor an Animal
Help care for the animals who make Hidden Pastures what it is.
The animals at Hidden Pastures are part of everyday life on the farm.
They have individual personalities, needs, boundaries, histories, and care requirements. Some participate regularly in programs. Others have quieter roles. Some are still learning where they fit.
Sponsorship helps us provide the food, veterinary care, farrier services, shelter, enrichment, medications, specialized diets, and everyday care they need throughout the year.
There are several ways to help support that care.
Meet the Animals First
Every animal at Hidden Pastures has a story.
Meet Lucky, Mattis, Comanche, Goose, Maddie, the mini horse family, Petunia, the cattle, donkeys, goats, sheep, birds, bunnies, and other animals who call Hidden Pastures home.
What Does It Mean to Sponsor an Animal?
Animal sponsorship helps cover the real, ongoing cost of responsible care.
Support may help provide:
- ✓Feed and hay
- ✓Veterinary care
- ✓Farrier services
- ✓Medications and specialized diets
- ✓Shelter and fencing
- ✓Bedding and enrichment
- ✓Training and rehabilitation
- ✓Everyday animal-care needs
Sponsorship is not ownership or adoption and does not guarantee access to an animal.
Horse Sponsorship
Support a Specific Horse
Horse sponsorship helps provide the consistent care each horse needs throughout the year — the same core needs described above, for a horse you choose to support.
Some horses have routine needs; others require additional medical, rehabilitation, or specialized care. Sponsorship helps Hidden Pastures respond while keeping each horse’s wellbeing first.
Annual Horse Sponsorship Levels
25% Horse Sponsorship — $1,250
Help cover a portion of one horse’s annual care.
50% Horse Sponsorship — $2,500
Provide a larger share of the annual cost of caring for a specific horse.
75% Horse Sponsorship — $3,750
Help cover most of the yearly care needs for a horse you choose to support.
Full Horse Sponsorship — $5,000
Provide substantial annual support toward the care of one specific horse.
Percentages represent a share of estimated annual care costs, not ownership. Every sponsorship contributes toward responsible, ongoing care.
What Sponsorship Means
Horse sponsorship is not ownership or adoption and does not guarantee access, riding, handling, or visits with the sponsored horse.
It is a way to share in the responsibility of caring for them well.
Sponsors may receive periodic updates and optional recognition.
Choose a Horse to Support
Many of the horses at Hidden Pastures are available for sponsorship, including horses with different histories, personalities, roles, and care needs.
Meet the herd first and choose the horse you would most like to support.
Support the Rest of the Herd
Hidden Pastures is home to much more than horses.
Goats, sheep, pigs, cattle, donkeys, chickens, ducks, peafowl, rabbits, a tortoise, and other animals are part of everyday farm life.
Some participate in educational programs and Animal Visits. Others help protect the pasture, provide eggs, wool, or other farm resources, or simply have their own place in the herd.
General Animal Support helps provide for their shared needs through monthly or one-time giving.
Horse Sponsorship
Choose a specific horse and contribute toward that horse’s annual care.
General Animal Support
Support shared needs across the broader herd and farm animals — monthly or one-time.
Corporate & Business Sponsorships
Businesses and community organizations can help support responsible animal care at Hidden Pastures.
Corporate sponsors may choose to support:
- ✓A specific horse
- ✓The horse herd collectively
- ✓General farm-animal care
Recognition is optional and may include website, social media, barn sponsor-board, or appropriate on-site acknowledgment.
What Sponsors Receive
Animal sponsorships are about support, not perks.
Depending on the sponsorship, sponsors may receive:
- ✓Periodic updates about the animals they support
- ✓Optional recognition
- ✓The knowledge that their contribution helps provide responsible, ongoing animal care
Sponsorship does not guarantee visits, handling, riding, or other access to a sponsored animal.
Want to Support Program Access Instead?
If you would rather help make Hidden Pastures programs and experiences more accessible to people who may otherwise be unable to participate, consider supporting the Hidden Pastures Access Fund.
Need-based assistance is provided based on available funding.
Help Care for the Herd
Every animal at Hidden Pastures depends on consistent, responsible care.
Whether you sponsor a specific horse, support the horse herd collectively, or help care for the many other animals who call the farm home, your support helps us meet those needs throughout the year.
