Farm Club

A Calm, Hands-On After-School Farm Experience

January–April and September-December
Mondays or Wednesdays | 4:00–5:30 PM Cost: $120 per month (4 classes)
Ages: Kindergarten–11th Grade
(Children attend one consistent weekday per week)

Farm Club is a small-group after-school program where kids and teens spend time outdoors, care for animals, and ease the transition from school to home.

This is a real farm experience — steady, hands-on, and intentionally paced.

What Farm Club Is Like

Kids come to:

  • slow down after school
  • spend time with animals
  • work on seasonal farm projects
  • be part of a group without pressure

Participation happens at each child’s pace. No one is forced to share or perform.

A Multi-Age Farm Herd

Farm Club is intentionally multi-age, allowing older kids to naturally support younger ones.

This supports:

  • confidence through real responsibility
  • cooperation and leadership
  • a strong sense of belonging

Everyone has a place in the herd.

What We Do

Activities vary by season and may include:

  • animal care and time with the herd
  • outdoor play and exploration
  • gardening and nature projects
  • homestead crafts
  • simple farm kitchen activities

The rhythm stays consistent, even as projects change.

Why Families Choose Farm Club

Families often share that Farm Club:

  • provides a calm bridge between school and home
  • helps kids feel more settled
  • builds confidence through hands-on work

Many parents notice evenings feel easier on Farm Club days.

Schedule

Farm Club runs monthly from January through April and September though December

  • Mondays or Wednesdays: 4:00–5:30 PM
  • Ages: Kindergarten – 11th Grade

Is Farm Club a Good Fit?

Farm Club works well for kids who:

  • enjoy animals and being outdoors
  • benefit from routine and structure
  • learn best by doing
  • want connection without competition

Farm Club may not be the best fit for kids who need one-on-one support to participate in a group.
